This week the One World Children's Choir had the opportunity to see San Diego Opera perform Florencia in Amazonas, a darkly beautiful opera that takes place in Manaus, Brazil--the exact place where our director, Dr. Aaron Mitchell will be traveling this fall to prepare a future project for the One World Children's Foundation and complete a Fulbright scholar residency at Amazon State University! We had a wonderful group of singer-ambassadors and friends participate, and everyone enjoyed the opportunity to let someone else do the singing for a change!
