Our Founder & Artistic Director

During 1995-97, Dr. Mitchell lived and volunteered in the Amazon region of Brazil in a life-changing service experience that would eventually inspire the founding of One World Arts Across Borders, after nearly two decades spent in a successful teaching and conducting career. His is an extensive record of building programs and leading ensembles to the highest level of artistic achievement. Whether working with symphonic chorus, university, secondary school or children's chorus, his choirs have received numerous accolades.
